Have you forgotten your manners?
Sometimes I just hate going to the store when I know it is going to be a lot of people there. It isn't because I do not want to wait in a long line, or because I can't find good parking. I can't stand going when it's busy because of all the rude people. It's like people completely forget their manners, and that's assuming they ever knew any manners.
Someone will bump right into me, reach over me, step in front of me, interrupt me when I am talking, and even cut me off while I am walking, and I will never hear such words as " excuse me, pardon me, I am sorry " or even " my bad, oops" , just nothing. As if I am supposed to have been used to that sort of rudeness.
I am sorry, but where I am from, and the way I was raised, a person should always be polite and use manners, especially when out in public. These days you never know what kind of day someone has been having, and it could just be the last thing to piss somebody off.
The kid's are rude. The parents are rude. The service is so impersonal. I wouldn't be surprised if a customer service employee told me to google whatever I needed to know, instead of taking the time to actually help me.
I am not kidding, I was in the hospital with a friend who was just diagnosed with diabetes. When the doctor came in at the very end of it all to make his legal appearance, I couldn't believe it when he told my friend to google any information he needed to know about being a diabetic. WTF. Unbelievable.
I am not one to say why there seems to be an abundance of rudeness in peoples everyday engagements with each other, because I do not know. It seems to me that there isn't any corrective attention being given to the rude doers.
I would like to do my own corrective attention giving to some of the idiots out here irritating me.
